Introduction

We’re pleased to announce the launch of a new feature in Flow 6.11: Flow Print. With Flow Print, you can print text and signatures right from Novacura Flow. We’ve also added an external app launcher so you can launch other appsright from your workflows.

New Features

New App: Flow Print

With Flow Print, you can print text and signatures right from Novacura Flow. This makes it easy for people out in the field to update invoices, collect signatures and print receipts—all from within the Flow app. Flow Print connects to printers via Bluetooth, so it works for both online and offline flows.

How to use Flow Print:

Studio

1. Build the ZPL layout in Flow Scriptelements

2. Use the External App Launcher object in User Step

3. Map the URIs

4. Add input variable just build in Flow Script

5. Add callback keys where applicable

App

1. Download the Flow Print app(for iOS or Android)

2. Go to set up and search for available printers (make sure your printer is switched on)

3. Select your printer

4. Flow Print is now ready to go!

Studio Improvements

New user step object: External App Launcher

Use the External App launcher to launch an external app like Flow Print or Google Maps directly from a workflow.

Improved navigation

We’ve made some improvements to the navigation elements in Flow Studio:

Click F11 or in the icon to open flow script dialog window.

New item step: Import and Export Data

This new feature allows you to import and export of data to and from the workflow Table element.

Import

• The allowed import formats are tab, semi colon and colon.

• The header must be one word and no special characters are allowed.

Export

• The export format is csv only.

Reports

From Studio, you can now extract information about roles, users, connectors and workflow changes and then save your report in csv format.

Flow Client

No more thief countdown

When a user is logging in on another device, you can now immediately take back the session. This is applicable for all clients.

Android UI changes
