Binary option input

A binary option interaction item is used when the operator needs to choose between two values. For example; they are used in conjunction with a decision step to allow the operator to pick a path through the workflow.

Binary option input have the following properties:

  • Target Variable The name of the new variable in which to store the chosen value of either option 1 or 2.

  • Option 1 text The text to be displayed for option 1.

  • Option 2 text The text to be displayed for option 2.

  • Default value Enter a default value (value of option 1 or 2) as a default value.

  • Option 1 value The value that should be put into the target variable for the option 1.

  • Option 2 value The value that should be put into the target variable for the option 2.

  • Refuse option 1 The operator is only allowed to move forward through the workflow if he/she chooses the second option.
